Responsibility
- Assist the finance team in daily accounting tasks and data entry activities to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify payment vouchers to ensure financial compliance.
- Assist in the compilation of financial data for budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Support the team during audit periods by organizing documentation and retrieving necessary financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline expense claim processes.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects related to financial process improvements and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and financial standards (MFRS/IFRS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity when handling confidential data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to commit to an internship duration of 3 to 6 months.
