Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and fiber optic systems.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs to resolve network outages and connectivity issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of field equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new network infrastructure and upgrades.
- Document all field activities, including service reports, equipment logs, and customer interactions.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system operations and best practices.
- Monitor network performance and escalate complex issues to senior technicians or engineers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all field operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cabling standards, and telecommunications systems.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as spectrum analyzers, OTDR, and multimeters.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites in Bali.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift equipment (up to 20 kg) and work in outdoor or confined spaces.
