Responsibility
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a wide range of medical devices, including imaging systems, patient monitors, and surgical equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls with urgency, minimizing downtime for critical healthcare equipment.
- Conduct on-site training for hospital staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical devices.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation in compliance with ISO 13485 and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose complex technical issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure all equipment adheres to safety and performance standards, including FDA and local health authority requirements.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Stay updated on emerging medical technologies and industry best practices through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in field service, biomedical equipment maintenance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of medical device regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
- Proven ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and use diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel frequently within Bali and occasionally to other regions.
- Certifications in biomedical equipment (e.g., CBET) are a plus.
