Responsibility
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, supplies, and equipment from local and international vendors to meet operational needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
- Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize stock management and reduce waste.
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports, including cost analysis, delivery timelines, and supplier performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Travel to supplier sites, trade shows, and industry events as needed to strengthen partnerships and explore new opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and cost savings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance to make informed decisions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
