Responsibility
- Provide real-time oral translation between Mandarin and Indonesian during meetings, training, and daily operations.
- Facilitate clear communication between Chinese and Indonesian staff, management, and external partners.
- Assist in translating technical documents, safety protocols, and operational manuals as needed.
- Support cross-cultural collaboration by ensuring accurate interpretation of instructions, feedback, and discussions.
- Coordinate with HR and department heads to address language-related challenges in the workplace.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all translations and interactions.
- Assist in onboarding new employees by providing language support during orientation.
- Document and report any communication barriers or misunderstandings to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both Mandarin and Indonesian (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey messages accurately and professionally.
- Familiarity with technical terminology related to manufacturing, engineering, or logistics is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and work on-site at the manufacturing facility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field is preferred but not required.
