Responsibility
- Provide technical expertise to customers and sales teams on Harwin’s connector products, including specifications, applications, and performance benefits.
- Lead design-in support for OEMs and distributors, ensuring optimal product selection and integration into customer systems.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and training for clients, distributors, and internal teams to showcase product capabilities.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to gather market feedback and drive product improvements or custom solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries (e.g., aerospace, defense, industrial automation).
- Support the sales team in preparing proposals, RFQ responses, and competitive analyses to win new business.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by customers, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position Harwin as a leader in high-reliability interconnects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Field Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Support role within the electronics/connector industry.
- Strong understanding of connector technologies, PCB design, and interconnect solutions for high-reliability applications.
- Proven track record of driving design-ins and supporting sales cycles in APAC markets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional APAC languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the APAC region (up to 50% of the time).
