In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and routine monitoring of HVAC systems, electrical installations, plumbing, and other facility equipment. Responsibility
- Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Perform routine inspections and monitoring of facility equipment, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or system upgrades when needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards in all maintenance work.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or facility upgrades.
- Provide technical support to other team members and facility users as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Facility Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in commercial or residential settings.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Certification in facility management, HVAC, or electrical systems is a plus.
