Responsibility
- Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects to improve facility infrastructure, ensuring alignment with production goals and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, electrical installations, and utility networks.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of critical assets.
- Conduct regular facility audits to identify inefficiencies, safety hazards, or compliance gaps, and propose actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with production, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), and quality teams to ensure facility operations meet industry and company standards.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships for facility-related services, including negotiations, scope definition, and performance evaluation.
- Lead sustainability initiatives, such as energy conservation, waste reduction, and green technology adoption, to support Jabil’s environmental goals.
- Prepare technical reports, budgets, and project timelines, and present findings to senior management for approval and implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering, plant maintenance, or manufacturing operations, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distributions, plumbing, fire safety systems, and industrial machinery.
- Proficient in CAD software, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, and local regulatory standards for facility safety and compliance.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing business needs.
