Based in the vibrant regions of Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung, you will collaborate with designers and clients to bring their fashion visions to life. Responsibility
- Measure clients accurately and provide expert fitting advice.
- Cut, sew, and assemble garments according to specifications or custom designs.
- Perform alterations and repairs on clothing to ensure perfect fit and finish.
- Collaborate with designers or clients to interpret sketches or instructions into finished products.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines, overlockers, and other tailoring equipment.
- Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and materials for each project.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a tailor, seamstress, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, sewing techniques, and garment construction.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns or design sketches.
- Excellent hand-sewing and machine-sewing skills.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for fit and finish.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Portfolio or samples of previous work is a plus.
