Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
- Assess and monitor childrenās progress through observations, portfolios, and developmental checklists, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative and supportive learning community.
- Incorporate play-based learning, storytelling, arts, music, and movement into daily activities to enhance childrenās holistic development.
- Maintain classroom organization, including managing materials, resources, and student records in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events to contribute to the growth and success of the school community.
- Uphold high standards of child safety, welfare, and safeguarding in accordance with Indonesian and international early childhood education guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching preschool or kindergarten-aged children in a classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development theories and best practices in play-based learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with curriculum frameworks such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or the Indonesian National Curriculum (Kurikulum 2013) is advantageous.
