Responsibility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Organize and maintain inventory by moving pallets, crates, and other materials to designated storage areas.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments by packing, labeling, and loading goods onto trucks or containers.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of waste materials.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and tools.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or material handling is a plus.
