Responsibility
- Manage and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all entries are correctly categorized and documented.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure consistency and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Support the submission of government reports, including tax filings and compliance documents, in accordance with local regulations.
- Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into the companyâs financial performance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve financial systems and controls.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed, including filing and organizing financial documents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data and financial records.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate with international teams.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
