Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and stock levels, including glasses, garnishes, and supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to recommend drinks and enhance their experience.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the bar is fully stocked.
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
- Stay updated on the latest cocktail trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including responsible alcohol service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume bar, hotel, or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixing techniques, and beverage pairings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (e.g., kegs, cases of liquor).
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math for cash handling.
- Creative mindset with a passion for crafting unique and visually appealing drinks.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) is a plus.
