Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is in working order.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary to promote responsible drinking.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
- Develop and introduce new cocktail recipes to enhance the bar’s menu offerings.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the bar’s inventory efficiently.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards as per company and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender or Mixologist in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixing techniques, and beverage trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and bar management software is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) is preferred.
