Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and excellence in every cup.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, providing recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and dining areas to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, troubleshooting minor issues as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, reporting shortages to the management team.
- Upsell premium coffee blends, pastries, and other menu items to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso extraction, and milk frothing techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with diverse clientele in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain composure during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, processing payments, and managing till operations.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, French, German) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for coffee, creativity in drink presentation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
