Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the OCBC Aquatic Centre, ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and service standards.
- Collaborate with management, stakeholders, and partners to plan and execute events, programs, and facility upgrades.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Manage venue staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-performing team.
- Monitor budgetary controls, expense tracking, and resource allocation to optimize financial performance.
- Liaise with local authorities, vendors, and community groups to build strong relationships and promote the venue.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Analyze operational data and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in venue operations, hospitality management, or a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing teams, budgets, and large-scale facilities or events.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, risk management, and emergency procedures in aquatic or recreational venues.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in venue management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by operational needs.
