Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers, vendors, and partners to optimize logistics costs.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for improving service and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics plans and customer requirements.
- Resolve operational issues and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all ocean freight activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes and reduce costs.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean freight, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of ocean freight operations, including documentation, customs, and compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using logistics software and tools for tracking and managing shipments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
