Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest areas, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for housekeeping operations, ensuring consistency and compliance with brand and industry standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, optimizing costs while ensuring availability.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas, addressing any deficiencies promptly to uphold our high standards.
- Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any housekeeping-related issues efficiently.
- Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality housekeeping, implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a housekeeping leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end hospitality setting.
- Proven track record of managing teams of 20+ staff with a focus on performance, training, and development.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards in compliance with international hospitality guidelines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting, and cost control for housekeeping departments.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and housekeeping software is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays as required by operational needs.
