Responsibility
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of enterprise-wide Data and AI delivery initiatives.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML models to improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
- Govern data architecture and data lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with global financial regulations and security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate advanced analytics into core banking products and service delivery channels.
- Drive organizational change by fostering a data-centric culture and providing technical mentorship to engineering teams.
- Manage departmental budgets, vendor relationships, and high-level project resource allocation.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to sustain competitive advantage in the fintech sector.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in data management, software engineering, or AI delivery within the financial services sector.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation projects in a global corporate environment.
- Expertise in cloud computing architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data stack technologies.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML governance, ethics, and regulatory compliance (e.g., MAS guidelines).
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence C-level executives and manage cross-cultural, distributed teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset suited for a high-pressure banking environment.
