Responsibility
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events from conception to completion, ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction.
- Oversee on-site event logistics, including vendor coordination, setup, teardown, and troubleshooting to maintain high standards.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Lead and mentor a team of event staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align expectations and deliver exceptional event experiences.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential challenges during events.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, feedback, and post-event reports for continuous improvement.
- Support business development efforts by contributing ideas for new event concepts and client proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event operations, hospitality, or a similar role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficient in event management software and tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar platforms).
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required for events.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
