Responsibility

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, decor, and entertainment.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details are handled professionally.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Create and distribute event marketing materials, including invitations, programs, and promotional content.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected challenges.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • Knowledge of local vendors and event venues in Bali is a plus.
