As an Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate meetings to weddings and social gatherings. Responsibility
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, decor, and entertainment.
- Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details are handled professionally.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Create and distribute event marketing materials, including invitations, programs, and promotional content.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected challenges.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Knowledge of local vendors and event venues in Bali is a plus.
