Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with international dangerous goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR) for all shipments.
- Classify, package, label, and document hazardous materials accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate the safe transportation of dangerous goods.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards during transit.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including dangerous goods declarations and transport permits.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on dangerous goods handling and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of shipments.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices to maintain compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dangerous goods logistics or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of international dangerous goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR).
- Certification in dangerous goods handling (e.g., IATA DGR, IMDG) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
