Responsibility

  • Ensure compliance with international dangerous goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR) for all shipments.
  • Classify, package, label, and document hazardous materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate the safe transportation of dangerous goods.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards during transit.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, including dangerous goods declarations and transport permits.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on dangerous goods handling and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on logistics performance, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of shipments.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices to maintain compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in dangerous goods logistics or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of international dangerous goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR).
  • Certification in dangerous goods handling (e.g., IATA DGR, IMDG) is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
