Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on etch equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including plasma etchers, RIE systems, and wet etch tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and generate reports on maintenance activities
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and qualifications
- Provide training and support to junior technicians and operators
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with etch equipment (plasma etchers, RIE systems, or similar) is highly desirable
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical schematics and manuals
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom protocols
- Basic understanding of PLC systems and automation is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
