Responsibility
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and budget projections for new store openings and major renovations.
- Review tender documents and conduct thorough analysis of contractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Monitor site progress and compare against project specifications to verify accuracy in cost reporting.
- Manage procurement processes and negotiate terms with suppliers and sub-contractors to optimize project expenditure.
- Analyze deviations between estimated costs and actual project spending to improve future estimation accuracy.
- Prepare detailed progress claims and final account documentation for project closures.
- Collaborate with internal architects and project managers to ensure design feasibility aligns with budgetary constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor, preferably in retail, F&B, or commercial construction.
- Strong proficiency in construction cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Deep understanding of building materials, labor costs, and market rates in the Indonesian construction sector.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
