Responsibility
- Develop accurate Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB) for retail grocery construction projects from initial blueprints to final execution.
- Analyze project specifications and site requirements to prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including materials, equipment, and labor.
- Conduct thorough market research to ensure unit prices are competitive and aligned with current industry standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and verify material quality.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities through value engineering without compromising project quality or scope.
- Monitor and track project expenses throughout the construction lifecycle to prevent budget overruns.
- Prepare comprehensive tender documentation and provide technical support during the bidding process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Estimator, preferably within the retail or commercial construction sector.
- Strong proficiency in technical drawing software (AutoCAD) and estimating tools/ERP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas) for data analysis and financial reporting.
- Deep understanding of construction materials, building techniques, and local construction regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders and vendors effectively.
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to work under tight project deadlines.
