Join Building System & Diagnostics Pte. Ltd. as an ESD Manager / Senior Engineer and lead the charge in sustainable building design across Bali’s most innovative projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape environmentally responsible developments, from initial design to post-construction verification, ensuring compliance with Green Mark certification standards.
Based in Bali’s dynamic regions—including Canggu, Ubud, and Denpasar—you’ll collaborate with architects, developers, and regulatory bodies to integrate cutting-edge sustainability solutions. Your expertise will drive energy efficiency, water conservation, and eco-friendly materials, positioning projects at the forefront of green building practices.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $5,000 – $7,500 per month, reflecting the critical role you’ll play in advancing sustainable infrastructure in Southeast Asia.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) consultancy projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee Green Mark certification processes, ensuring compliance with local and international sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and developers, to integrate ESD principles into project designs.
- Conduct energy modeling, daylight analysis, and thermal comfort assessments to optimize building performance.
- Develop and implement post-TOP (Temporary Occupation Permit) verification strategies to validate sustainability outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance on renewable energy systems, water efficiency, and waste management solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory submissions.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in green building technologies and advocate for their adoption in projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ESD consultancy, with a proven track record in Green Mark certification projects.
- Proficiency in sustainability assessment tools (e.g., IES VE, eQUEST, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of local and international green building standards (e.g., BCA Green Mark, LEED, WELL).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to influence project outcomes.
- Certification in sustainable design (e.g., Green Mark Manager, LEED AP) is highly advantageous.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, is a plus.
