Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
- Provide EHS training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and management to promote a safety-first culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations and project planning.
- Maintain accurate records of EHS performance metrics, inspections, and incident reports for regulatory and internal reporting.
- Monitor environmental impacts (e.g., waste management, emissions) and ensure adherence to sustainability goals.
- Stay updated on emerging EHS trends, regulations, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA 30, CSP) are a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in EHS coordination, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or hospitality sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of local Indonesian EHS regulations and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in EHS software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
