Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with Indonesian and global standards (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for industrial, residential, or infrastructure projects in Bali.
- Monitor and analyze air, water, and soil quality data to identify pollution risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to promote sustainable practices and public awareness.
- Oversee waste management programs, including recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and circular economy initiatives.
- Prepare technical reports, permits, and documentation for regulatory submissions and stakeholder presentations.
- Lead energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction projects to support corporate sustainability goals.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental best practices and emergency response protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental engineering, preferably in Southeast Asia or similar regulatory environments.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, HEC-RAS) and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian environmental laws (e.g., PP 22/2021, Government Regulation on Waste Management).
- Certifications such as LEED AP, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, or PMP are highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus) for stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects with tight deadlines and budgets.
