Responsibility
- Provide first-level IT support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security checks to maintain IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex issues and implement solutions.
- Document IT support activities, including issue resolution steps and user feedback.
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated with industry trends.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity software.
- Familiarity with hardware components, networking concepts, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with end users effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and IT support methodologies.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in IT support is a plus but not required.
