Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality English language instruction to students of varying proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and feedback, and provide constructive guidance for improvement.
- Utilize interactive teaching methods, including role-playing, group discussions, and multimedia tools to enhance student engagement.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and staff to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance in compliance with centre policies.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to stay updated on modern teaching techniques.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence-building.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English (native or near-native proficiency) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus).
- Proven experience in teaching English as a second or foreign language, preferably in a classroom or tutoring setting.
- Strong understanding of language acquisition principles and effective teaching methodologies.
