Responsibility
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical care to patients in critical conditions.
- Assess patient conditions, administer first aid, and perform life-saving procedures such as CPR, wound care, and immobilization.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including defibrillators, oxygen tanks, and stretchers.
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities while monitoring their vital signs and providing necessary care en route.
- Collaborate with paramedics, doctors, and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient handover and continuity of care.
- Document patient information, treatment provided, and outcomes accurately for medical records and reporting.
- Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on basic first aid and emergency response techniques.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, compassion, and ethical conduct in all interactions with patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with a valid license or certification recognized in Indonesia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in emergency medical services or a related healthcare field.
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and trauma care techniques.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and emergency protocols.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive in high-pressure emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
- Physical fitness and stamina to lift, carry, and transport patients and equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by emergency response demands.
