Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with international curriculum standards (Cambridge, IB, or similar)
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives
- Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates, conferences, and progress reports
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to school improvement plans
- Supervise and mentor teaching assistants or student teachers as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the elementary level in an international school setting
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
- Experience with international curricula (Cambridge Primary, IB PYP, or similar)
- Native-level English proficiency with excellent communication skills
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to differentiate instruction
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse student populations
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practices
