Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial plants, including motors, transformers, and control panels.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on field instrumentation, sensors, and control devices to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions and improve system efficiency.
- Develop and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Perform root cause analysis for system failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry codes (IEC, ISO), and company policies in all engineering activities.
- Provide technical support and training to operations teams on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PLC Programming, SCADA, or Industrial Automation) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, preferably in chemical, manufacturing, or process industries.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider), DCS, and SCADA systems (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC).
- Familiarity with safety standards (NFPA 70E, IEC 61511) and hazardous area classifications (ATEX, IECEx).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
