Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues promptly to maintain continuous production operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements in plant efficiency and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies to create a secure working environment.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical and instrumentation systems as required.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operational staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical & Instrument Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, control systems, and instrumentation tools.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations relevant to electrical and instrumentation work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing operational demands.
- Certifications in electrical safety or instrumentation (e.g., PLC programming) will be an added advantage.
