Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in Mandarin and English, aligned with the schoolâs curriculum and early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
- Assess and monitor childrenâs progress, providing individualized support to meet their developmental needs.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to foster strong home-school partnerships and communicate childrenâs progress effectively.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, field trips, and school events to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of childrenâs development, attendance, and behavior, ensuring compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Work closely with fellow teachers and staff to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Promote social-emotional learning by modeling positive behavior, conflict resolution, and empathy in the classroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching young children (ages 3-6) in a classroom setting.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in early education.
- Experience with bilingual education or teaching in an international school is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive, engaging, and child-centered learning environment.
- Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (if not already residing in the area).
