Responsibility
- Develop and refine 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software to support architectural and construction projects.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications to ensure precise material and cost estimations.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for project planning and client presentations.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment between design intent, technical requirements, and project execution.
- Review and verify project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and compliance reports.
- Monitor project progress and track material quantities to identify discrepancies or potential cost savings.
- Provide technical support during tender processes, including bid evaluations and vendor comparisons.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of drawings, revisions, and project-related data.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting, quantity surveying, or a similar role within the construction/design industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and familiarity with other drafting tools such as Revit, SketchUp, or BIM software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate quantity take-offs and budgeting.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings with precision.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
