Responsibility
- Create accurate electrical schematics, layouts, and as-built drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems, ensuring clash detection and coordination with other disciplines.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design intent and translate it into precise technical drawings.
- Review and validate drawings and models for compliance with industry standards (e.g., NEC, IES, local codes).
- Generate and update BIM execution plans (BEP) and coordinate with project teams to ensure model accuracy.
- Assist in quantity takeoffs and material lists from BIM models to support procurement and cost estimation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies between drawings, models, and site conditions.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM and CAD technologies, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Drafter or BIM Modeller, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and BIM tools (Navisworks, Solibri).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, symbols, and industry standards (e.g., NEC, IES).
- Experience with clash detection and coordination in multi-disciplinary BIM projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Indonesia is a plus.
