Responsibility
- Manage and organize legal and corporate documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with legal teams to prepare, review, and file legal documents, contracts, and case-related materials.
- Maintain and update document control systems, databases, and filing systems to ensure easy retrieval and secure storage.
- Assist in the preparation of legal correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor document versions, revisions, and approvals to prevent discrepancies and ensure consistency.
- Support paralegals and attorneys in case preparations, including research, evidence compilation, and trial documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection of sensitive legal and business documents.
- Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating communications between legal teams and clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Document Controller, Paralegal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role in a legal or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, document management systems, and filing protocols.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume document environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive, or legal-specific tools).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with legal teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
