Responsibility
- Wash, clean, and sanitize all kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment according to hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including storage and waste disposal.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Sort and stack dishes, glassware, and silverware for efficient service.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Support the culinary team by preparing ingredients, such as peeling vegetables or portioning items, as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher, Kitchen Steward, or in a similar role in hospitality is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with industrial dishwashing equipment is an advantage.
