Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Direct and oversee all operational activities across multiple aerospace manufacturing sites in Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and industry best practices.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance production efficiency, quality control, and delivery timelines to meet or exceed KPIs and client expectations.
- Cross-Border Coordination: Collaborate with regional teams to standardize processes, share best practices, and ensure consistency in manufacturing standards across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement, logistics, and inventory control to minimize downtime and maximize cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to international aerospace regulations (e.g., AS9100, FAA, EASA) and implement robust safety and quality assurance protocols.
- Budget & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage operational budgets, forecast expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a diverse team of managers, engineers, and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to support business growth and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 10 years in aerospace manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a directorial or senior management role overseeing multi-site operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of aerospace production processes, including precision machining, assembly, testing, and quality control.
- Regional Expertise: Experience working in Southeast Asia or managing cross-border teams, with familiarity in navigating diverse regulatory and cultural landscapes.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Technical Acumen: Strong background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Financial Literacy: Proficient in budgeting, financial forecasting, and P&L management for large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or Business Administration (Masterâs or MBA preferred).
