Responsibility
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients based on medical conditions, dietary needs, and cultural preferences.
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and monitor patient progress to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams to facilitate clear communication and coordinated care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on dietary modifications, meal planning, and lifestyle adjustments to support long-term wellness.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and therapists to integrate nutrition into holistic treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Organize and lead nutrition workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in nutrition and healthcare to provide evidence-based recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist with relevant professional registration (e.g., Malaysian Dietitiansā Association or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, dietary planning, or healthcare coordination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Experience working in multicultural environments, with sensitivity to diverse dietary practices and cultural needs.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
