Responsibility
- Develop and implement demand forecasting models to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess stock.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on procurement activities, inventory status, and logistics performance to the COO and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align demand plans with business strategies and market trends.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain and propose actionable solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead and mentor a team of demand planners, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous process improvement.
- Utilize ERP or demand planning software to generate insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic factors, and consumer behavior to refine forecasting methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of retail and consumer goods industry dynamics, including seasonal trends and promotional impacts.
- Familiarity with lean inventory principles, just-in-time (JIT) methodologies, and supply chain optimization techniques.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
