Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and market analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand planning with production, inventory, and logistics strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and external factors to refine forecasting accuracy.
- Prepare and present reports on demand forecasts, inventory performance, and supply chain metrics to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Utilize ERP and analytics tools to streamline demand planning and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and demand planning software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
