As a Data Remediation Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving data discrepancies, ensuring our databases are clean, consistent, and aligned with business requirements. Responsibility
- Identify and analyze data inconsistencies, errors, and discrepancies within large datasets.
- Develop and implement data cleansing and remediation strategies to improve data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data integrity and resolve issues.
- Document data remediation processes, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Perform data profiling and quality assessments to ensure compliance with business rules.
- Assist in migrating and transforming data between systems while maintaining data integrity.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track data quality metrics and remediation progress.
- Stay updated on industry best practices for data management and remediation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, data cleansing, or data remediation roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with data profiling tools and techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate data issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting project deadlines.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards is advantageous.
