Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and related tools.
- Implement and optimize data ingestion processes using SnowPipe and other ETL tools.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support business requirements.
- Automate data workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
- Document data processes and provide training to team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools such as SnowPipe.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Scala.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
