Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large-scale datasets from manufacturing and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and implement efficient data architecture solutions.
- Optimize database performance and ensure high availability and reliability of data infrastructure.
- Implement data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all analytical platforms.
- Develop automated data workflows using scripting languages and ETL/ELT tools to reduce manual intervention.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide technical support and documentation for data systems to ensure stakeholders can leverage data effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or software development.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt).
- Working knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and cloud architecture principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
