Responsibility
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver high-performance data solutions.
- Optimize existing data workflows for improved performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and quality through rigorous testing, validation, and monitoring processes.
- Develop and implement data security policies to ensure compliance with global data privacy standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and pipeline configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar Big Data role (3+ years preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related data services.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration tools.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Databricks).
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in an agile, team-oriented environment.
