Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor data center environments, including temperature, humidity, and power systems, to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the deployment and management of IT infrastructure projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of data center operations, including inventory and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support system upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Center Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and storage systems.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
