Responsibility
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Support the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and maintain security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Participate in penetration testing and ethical hacking exercises to evaluate system defenses.
- Document security incidents, investigations, and resolutions for internal reporting.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Contribute to security awareness training and initiatives for employees.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of network security, encryption, and authentication protocols.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CISSP is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus) or programming languages (Python, Bash) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
