Responsibility
- Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage cash funds, balance drawers, and verify daily transactions to ensure financial accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing member inquiries, resolving issues, and offering financial guidance.
- Perform daily closing tasks, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to security protocols for all financial transactions and member data.
- Promote financial products and services to members, identifying opportunities to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth branch operations and a positive member experience.
- Stay updated on banking regulations, internal policies, and procedural changes to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a teller, customer service, or banking role.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with members.
- Proficiency in using banking software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
- Ability to handle cash and financial documents with integrity and precision.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.
